Invisalign Teen is a removable orthodontic system designed for patients aged twelve and above with full adult dentition. The treatment uses bespoke clear thermoplastic aligners to correct crowding, spacing, and bite alignment issues. Patient compliance is critical to the success of the system. Aligners must be worn for at least twenty-two hours daily. They must only be removed for eating, drinking, and oral hygiene. Patients must brush their teeth after every meal to prevent aligner staining. Post-treatment retainers are mandatory to prevent orthodontic relapse.
